Pouch length is 11.5 inches. Think Ergo Arm Sling Sport XL - Recommended for adults who need a longer arm pouch. Pouch length is 14-17 inches (the length is adjustable). Arm Sling Air Instructions: Step 1: Lay the arm sling flat on a table. If you will be using the arm sling on your right arm, the arm pouch opening should be pointing to your left. If you will be using the arm sling on your left arm, the arm pouch opening should be pointing to your right. Step 2: Using your non-injured arm, bring the strap over your head and place it on the shoulder opposite to your injury. Step 3: Next, carefully place your injured arm into the pouch. To support your hand, slip your thumb through the elastic loop that is closest to your torso. Step 4: The strap should be centered on your shoulder and the arm sling should be comfortably supporting your arm. To tighten, pull the strap at the front, or adjust it via the buckle on the back.
